Build a House That's Good Enough to Eat

Build a Tasty Gingerbread House

Families are invited to design and decorate gingerbread houses together at this Tinley Park-Park District event. The district will provide the building blocks, as well as special holiday snacks and beverages. The event is for parents with children ages 3 to 12.

When: 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21

• Back to the Future Screening: The classic Michael J. Fox movie will be shown at 6:30 p.m. at the Tinley Park Public Library.
• Classic Movie Cinema: The Tinley Park-Park District will screen Holiday Inn as part of its film series. The movie starts at 7 p.m. at the Tinley Park Performing Arts Center.

SATURDAY, DEC. 21

Santa's Workshop: Make Christmas stockings, ornaments and other crafts projects at this Tinley Park-Park District event from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center.
