Kids Get to Play in Park District's Reindeer Games

Rudolph Dash
Kids from ages 7 to 9 get to wear a red-lighted nose and race as part of the Tinley Park-Park District's Rudolph Dash. The famous reindeer will hand out awards, and participants will get to visit with his boss, Santa Claus.When: 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13
Where: Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center
Cost: $15 per child

FRIDAY, DEC. 13Longest, Farthest, Highest: The Tinley Park Library holds a throwing, building, stacking night for kids ages 6 to 12 from 7 to 8 p.m.
SATURDAY, DEC. 14
- D146 Surplus Sale: Community Consolidated School District 146 residents can find a good deal on surplus equipment, including computers and TVs from 8 a.m. to noon at Sandidge School.
- Millennium Elementary Santa's Workshop: The elementary school will have a Secret Santa workshop, raffles and other activities at 10 a.m.
- Lunch With Santa: Children and parents can have a buffet lunch with St. Nick starting at 11:30 a.m. at the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center.
Chansonettes in Concert: Enjoy this women's singing group at 2 p.m. at the Tinley Park Public Library.
