The food is really good but the prices are higher than most similar breakfast places. I think Egg Heads on Oak Park is much better.

Blackberry's is the very best breakfast and lunch restaurant in the area. From the time we walk in the door until we leave, we get the very best service possible and the delicious menu selections are reasonably priced. We love their pancakes because they have so many available and every one is light, moist, and cooked to perfection, topped or filled generously. The lunch selections are superb, especially the soups that are made from scratch fresh every morning. We highly recommend Blackberry's as local residents who have frequented this restaurant since it opened and have never had a bad experience of any kind there.

We have been going to Blackberrys since it opened. The food is so deliciously homemade; breakfast foods are excellent with generous portions; lunch menu tasty with an always perfect plate presentation; soups are homemade fresh every morning and you get a generous bowl full. We recommend the biscuits and gravy (just like my Mom used to make), any of the omelets always fresh and filling, the hamburger is perfectly cooked and you get soup and fries with this. The variety of pancakes will make your mouth water. Support Tinley Park businesses, including Blackberry. If you are in a hurry or on a work lunch, don't worry, your food comes quickly and you will have plenty of time to eat. The Waitresses are the best and keep the coffee flowing into your cup. Great food, however their service leads a lot to be desired. I am part of a monthly breakfast club and we try to hit different place every month. I called Blackberry's the day before we were to arrive to make sure they would have the tables for our group of 20 and that they would give us separate checks.Gentleman on the phone told me no problem. We arrived at the scheduled time only to have to wait for the tables to be put together. No big deal. They would not give us separate checks, the waitress we were given was one of the crabbiest people I have come across in a long time. She complained that we didn't need as many tables because 3 people did not show up. She forgot food and had even taken food before asking if the child that was eating it was done. We will not be going here again and I doubt any of us will go with just our families which is too bad because the food really is good.
