Just had my St Bernard Viviana groomed by Chrissy wonderful job she looks great.

I hate mocha pet because when i got my hamster a week later she had babies it is so ridiculous i am not going back there ever again unless i have to which i probably won't because i hate them so much and if the workers are on the patch separate the boys from the girls and i hate mocha pet

I LOVE this store. My dogs just moved from petco to here and they love it. The staff is amazing and they have the cutest puppies. Grooming is nice because the groomers are very talented, and you can watch your dog being groomed. I will recommend this place to everyone.

If i didnt already have enough dogs, Id buy me another dog from there. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. We got our min pin there last year and was very happy with our purchase and all the extras it had with it (microchipped, free 1st vet visit, 50% of neuter etc)

I haven't had any grooming, thankfully, because it doesn't sound like a great experience:(

Heather - Kim is not there anymore, she moved to pretty paws, I now take my dogs there, the same thing happened to me! Mochapet grooming is terrible now, all they do is shave the dogs.

We brought our dogs here for over a year with Kim. We brought them in to get baths last week, and when we picked them up our dogs rear ends' were shaved to the skin. When going in to confront the manager we were treated in a disgusting manner. Never will I give this place a single dime of my money. The management is absolutely atrocious! I have heard of several other peoples' dogs being shaved. It's pure laziness.

Chrissy does an excellent job on my Sissy my golden retriever. Love her and will follow her to mochapet!

This place is even better now that Chrissy for Petco is there. My dog has been coming to Mochapet since they opened, and the care and attention she gets from Chrissy is bar none. My Lhasa Teddy looks great and he is less stressed when he comes home. Mochapet is the grooming shop to go to if your in Tinley or surrounding areas.

I have brought my dog here a few times for grooming, but ni recently found out the groomer left!! The girl with the pink hair always made my dog look perfect and I was very upset when I showed up for my appointment and she wasnt there. the guy SHAVED my dog and it was uneven. And no one told me there was a new groomer. Luckly I found out the girl is at Pretty Paws in Oak Forest, its more of a drive, but its worth it!

This place is awesome! The people rock and the pets are so cute!

We got a puppy from there about a month ago. he is a the sweetest thing. Great health check. Every time I have gone into the Mochapet in Tinley the vet has been there. Our dog is very well mannered most pups need training but because the staff take the dogs on leashes for walks our has no problem on a leash. Ryan was our guy. My only beef with pet stores is they charge too much. I tried all the shelters first but no small young ones. We are weight limited here. Bu this was the best thing for my special needs child. Ryan really worked hard so Severus could come home with us. Very happy indeed. So one star off for price. Will post again when he is groomed.

Just had my dog groomed here today. The groomer Kim i think ( the one with pink hair.) is the best groomer I have ever gone to. I will recomend mochapet to all my friends.

Stopped today. I am owner of 2 Golden Retrievers (family members). Owner stated puppies come from breeders in Indiana, Missouri and Iowa. Could not respond to questions such as: Why so far away? Why the need to transport puppies in? You cannot see parents of puppies or surroundings where puppies are bred or ask breed owner questions. Shown pictures of particular breeder's facility. Appeared clean BUT multiple breeds of dogs shown in facility. SCREAMS PUPPY MILL. Reputable breeder has particular breed and only breeds ONCE a year and DOES NOT breed female before age of 2 nor after age of 5. Please do research looking for a puppy. You should see health clearances on parents of puppies. You want healthy background even for "Family Pet." Breeds have associations to locate reputable breeders. DO NOT purchase a puppy if you have not met the breeders, the parents of the puppy or seen the home where the puppies were bred. If you choose not to go through a breeder, at least do an adoption through a reputable agency. ALSO, there are sites online to research quality of dog food such as: dogfoodanalysis.com, petfoodtalk.com, dogfoodadvisor.com, dogfoodchat.com. DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!! DO NOT SUPPORT PUPPY MILLS!!! PUPPY MILLS DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE HEALTH AND WELL BEING OF THE DOGS USED FOR BREEDING NOR THE PUPPIES THEY PRODUCE. You are putting out a large sum of money. Probably won't cost you much more to go through a reputable breeder. RESEARCH! RESEARCH! RESEARCH!

Visited there booth at the Tinley Park street festival, and got a coupon for grooming. I tried it out and my dog has never looked as well groomed as she did today. I will always come to mochapet from now on.

Had an appointment for a $5 de-shedding,( my 16 yr old wanted to take her, I figured no harm there) little did I know she came home with a $25 receipt for a bath. They took advantage of a child, how wrong is this companies morals. I called, they talked to the groomer, apologized and told me to bring her in and they would de-shed her for me. I arrived to the store and they told me they "made a mistake. the groomer did de-shed her and you have to buy a bath for $25 and the de-shed was free" What a line of bullsh*t this guy gave me.

I just picked up my dog from being groomed & he looks great! Perfect balance between being cool for the summer, knot free & still a bit fluffy (so he still looks like himself)!! Kim rocks!! This is THE BEST grooming my dog has had in the 2 1/2 years I've had him!!!!!!!!!

Although I was told repeatedly they do not get their puppies from puppy mills this is what I researched when I got home. Upon reviewing papers on a puppy I loved I noted Top Notch Puppies as the breeder in Iowa. This is a broker often used by Petland. See below what is listed about them!! Buyer beware. Your dog is doomed to have congenital defects causing you pain and heartache down the line.

I love MochaPet. I love the name. I had someone ask me if this place was a coffee shop where you could bring your pets to. (The thought of that sounds amazing, right?) Well anyway, the staff is remarkable, very caring, and helpful. I had just adopted an 8 month old dog, and I hadn't had a dog in for 8 years. The staff helped me pick out the supplies I needed to make my lovely Molly feel like shes home. The groomer Kim is amazing. You can tell she loves what she does, and wants to make everyone happy. Not to mention, her pink hair ROCKS. I may not suggest buying a dog there, because of the rumors I have heard. However, this place is great for so much more then that. Like they say, don't judge a book by it's cover. :)

I went to Mochapet today for the first time, what can I say WOW! The store is so clean. I thought It would smell bad. The puppies were all playing being funny. Also the people are awesome, Mike is the coolest that works there. I love mochapet!!!!!

Ugh...what can I say about Mochapet. First off, as a vet I can attest to the fact that these poor skinny puppies are not healthy. More than likely due to the fact that they are produced and purchased from puppy mills, and do not receive regular exercise since they are in cages 24 hours a day. That causes breakdown of muscle tissue and results in them being weaker, and at an increased risk for disease as well. Many pet stores also do not provide their pets with regular vet care, including vaccinations. I always tell my clients not to buy from a pet store because 1. you have NO idea what you are getting, 2. If a puppy has a parasite or illness, your other pet(s) can catch it as can you, and 3. If you discover the animal is sick there is often little to no legal recourse except to return it which is an awfuly sad situation. Why spend hunderds on a pet store dog when you can adopt for half the cost, and get a dog/puppy that is often spayed and/or neutered, not to mention current on vaccinations. When I asked about their health, they tried to hide the fact that the dogs come from brokers and went to show me to their selection of "gourmet" pet foods--probably thinking I would order some for my practice or recommend it to my clients. Sickening. The staff has no clue and is only in it for the money, despite the suffering in which these poor animals go through. Please do not shop here. Pet Supplies Plus is a much better store, & doesn't sell puppies. They also have a wider selection.

I had my Yorkie groomed there. I am extremely happy with the services. The groomer is Kim, she is one of the only groomers i know that still hand sciscors the body. Try it out, there prices are a little cheaper and they do $20 dog baths for any breed on mon. and wed. Hope this helps.

I stopped into Mocha Pet last night for the first time to see if they carried my dog food. They did carry it but after telling the employees about my dogs chronic ear infections they recommended a few other brands and gave me samples of grain free food to try. They were very friendly and seemed knowledgable. I did want to try their grooming services but from the review below I'm a little scared now. Anyone else try the grooming and like it?

My husband and I discovered Mochapet today, and it far exceeded are expectations. We went in to see if our dog food was carried, and fortunately it was not. We were educated about our dogs nutritional needs and found out that the food we were feeding did not meet the needs of our dog. We now feed California Naturals instead of Pro Plan.The staff here is well educated and very pollite. The store is meticulously clean and full of goodies for our little Zeus. Thank you Mochapet, Tinley Park has needed a pet store like this.

Yea.. they said originally they wouldn't work with bullshit brokers( puppy mills providers) yet u look at the paper work and there from Top Notch puppies, Q&D kennels all brokers! All pet stores are PUPPY MILL DOGS don't support the mothers are still suffering =(

My husband dropped our dog off for a scheduled 12:30pm grooming and was told that it would take three (yes -- three) hours. By 4:00 pm, I still hadn't received a call so I decided to go on over. I was told that my dog was not even started yet, that "he was next up on the table." I told them to just give me my dog. He was locked up for three to four hours already and very tense. I have never ever had a grooming experience like this before No phone calls, nothing. Just terrible and so unprofessional. It's too bad for Mocha Pet because we needed a dog groomer in the area. Thank God others saw the need and two or three grooming places just opened up here in the Tinley/Orland area so we have other choices.
