Southwest Community Services is a non-profit human services organization with locations based around Tinley Park. Divisions of the organization include the Tinley Park Developmental Training Program, Community Enterprises, Community Employment Services and the SCS Phoenix Center. The organization works to provide the social, vocational and emotional well being of individuals with developmental, mental and physical disabilities. Some services provided include assistance programs, developmental training, rehabilitation and recreational activities. Each division of the organization works to help a different population including developmentally disabled adults, mentally disabled adults and children up to 3 years old with developmental delays and individuals with cerebral palsy and other neuromuscular disorders.
