INTERVIEW: U.S. Rep. Judy Biggert Talks Taxes, Banks and Disconnect
Republican incumbent candidate for U.S. Congress believes upcoming election could un-stall the federal government.
Judy Biggert has a few things on her mind. The Republican incumbent candidate for Illinois' 13th Congressional District, which includes northwestern Tinley Park, believes things could change after this upcoming election. She believes the gridlock between parties that have stalled many attempts by both Republicans and Democrats to reverse a spiraling economic plunge since 2008 could end, depending on the outcome. She thinks the Bush tax cuts should remain and that health care reform should not hurt small business owners. On a more local level, Biggert said that any hope for economic recovery lies greatly in getting unemployed people back to work.
