Andrew Senior's Art Earns First Runner-Up Honors in Tollway Contest

Michael Barrios, a senior at Andrew High School, was the first runner-up in the 2013 lllinois Tollway Map Cover Art Contest for his art that illustrated this year's theme, Remembering Our Veterans, the agency announced in a press release this week. As a runner-up, Barrios won $200 in gift certificates from Highland Park-based Blick Art Materials and $100 in gift certificates from U.S. Equities Realty in Chicago, the release said. His artwork also will be featured in the agency's annual report, the release added.
