Blackberry's Becomes 2nd Egg & I in Tinley

The pancake house shut its doors last week, so the owner could concentrate on his other restaurant ventures. Another Egg & I plans to open in that location some time next month, and it will retain some touches from Blackberry's.

CLARIFICATION (2:11 p.m. Wednesday, March 27): An earlier version of this story stated that dishes from Blackberry's Pancake House would be on the new Egg & I's menu. Although customers will be able to make special requests for those items, they will not officially be on the menu. The story has been changed to reflect that. Business Comings & Goings: Chamberlain College of Nursing Opens Tinley Campus

Tinley Park has become a hot spot for college campuses even with the impending demise of Sanford-Brown College. Chamberlain College of Nursing is the latest institution of higher education to settle in Tinley Park at 18624 W. Creek Drive in the same building at DeVry University. The Tinley location is the 13th campus for the school, which has been training nurses for 122 years. The campus will offer bachelor of science of nursing degrees and offers year-round study. Students could earn degrees in three years.
