Lawless Hawk, one of three men convicted of stealing 26 firearms from a Tinley Park gun shop, received a suspended sentence Wednesday for an earlier arrest for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon in a vehicle, the Chicago Tribune reports.

FRIDAY, DEC. 28 The locks were cut off of three lockers on Dec. 28 at LA Fitness, 18400 Convention Center Dr. in Tinley Park. One victim reported the theft of $250 in cash, the second victim reported a wallet with $250 cash and credit cards was missing, and the third victim reported nothing missing from his locker. On Jan. 2, an Air Force Academy cadet home for the holidays reported the theft of $100 from his locker at the fitness center. Two unidentified men broke in to a cigarette shop early Nov. 19, less than 10 days after a duo using similar tactics burglarized the business, Tinely Park Police reports. This time, however, no merchandise or money was taken from Smokey Top Tobacco and Coffee, 7301 W. 183rd St., according to the report. MONDAY, OCT. 22 Bryant Larkin, 24, of the 9700 block of South Yates Boulevard in Chicago, was charged with possession of marijuana after police found pot in his car while he was waiting to pick up merchandise at American Sale, 8401 185th St., according to a police report. Initially, an officer was called to the home recreation store at 5:55 p.m. to investigate possible credit card fraud, the report stated. A Frankfort man suspected by that village's police force in a string of home burglaries also has been connected to breaking in to his grandmother's Tinley Park home and stealing a $1,000 ring, some gold coins and costume jewelry, according to police reports and court records. Alexander Q. A Tinley Park man is facing three felonies connected to a burglary, where police said he stole a car and other items from an Orland Park funeral home. On Sunday, the Orland Park Police Department was called by Orland Hills police about a car found in the 16000 block of Willow Terrace that was reported stolen earlier in the day, around 6:30 p.m., according to Orland Park Commander John Keating. Residents who took an extended vacation arrived home late last week to find their house in shambles. Police said more than $30,000 worth of items were missing from the home, $20,000 of which was in the form of gold jewelry.
Local police said someone ransacked a house on 66th Avenue while its residents were traveling for more than two months. A family living in the 17900 block of 66th Avenue in Tinley Park arrived home Aug. 9 after leaving for a vacation May 31, according to the police report.
