Child support warrants are most often filed when a person neglects to pay child support bills, according to Cook County Sheriff's Office representatives. However, warrants may also be issued in other cases, such as when a person doesn't report to a police department to provide a required DNA sample or when he or she doesn't notify authorities of salary increases. The following child support warrants were listed by the Cook County Sheriff's Office as of Nov. 8: Larry Multon Jr., 35, has racked up $37,676.59 in child support payments. His last known address is in the 8600 block of W. 167th Street. Dewayne Parks, 39, owes $18,311.28 in child support payments. Placido S. Cordero, 32, of the 17200 block of 71st Court in Tinley Park, is wanted for driving under the influence. The warrant was issued Sept. 19, 2008 and bail has been set at $3,000. Romeo Garcia is also wanted on a driving under the influence warrant. A 28-year-old last known to live in the 17000 block of South Elm Lane in Tinley Park, his warrant has been active since October 2010. Bail has been set at $10,000. The following warrants for failure to provide child support were listed by the Cook County Sheriff's Office as of April 5: Keith Penelton, 52, had $39,917.36 in child support payments racked up as of April 5. His last known address was in the 1200 block of West End in Chicago Heights. Authorities have also listed Katrina Johnson, 40, of the 200 block of East 24th Street in Chicago Heights, as being delinquent on child support payments. She owes $11,322.
