The 21-year-old man who suffered severe burns after his girlfriend allegedly drove over him last week originally told police an unknown vehicle had hit him, dragging him down 175th Street, according to police reports. Christine A. Meyers, 23, was charged with aggravated domestic battery Sunday, Dec. 16, after prosecutors claimed she drove over her boyfriend after picking him up from a bar early Friday. The incident resulted in burns on the man's chest, back and scrotum, the latter injury needing surgery to repair.
