Bahaa A. Sam was charged with first-degree murder in the death of his wife, Nermeen Gamal Sam, 38. An autopsy report stated she was hit in the head more than 10 times. Tinley Park resident Bahaa A. Sam, 47, has been charged with first degree murder in the death of his wife, Nermeen Gamal Sam, 38, according to police. Nermeen Sam had been beaten Wednesday by a blunt object, and her body was found outside her home in the 19700 block of Silverside Drive, near a neighbor's yard, said Tinley Park Police Chief Steve Neubauer.
