Police Blotter: Creepy Driver Follows High School Girl; Sparks Fly for Drunken Driver
Tinley Park police reports, April 11
Monday, April 11 An 18-year-old female Tinley Park High School student was followed by a man in a greenish, possibly black four-door car while she walked to school at about 7:45 a.m. April 11, police said. The man rolled down the window and said “I’m just trying to say hi” and “I won’t bite,” to the teen before driving off, police said. The teen told police she had seen the man driving by in a blue, older model four-door before twice in February; in both incidents he sounded the horn as he passed, but did not attempt to talk to her, police said. Police are looking for a black man in his 30s with a beard and mustache. John Clarke, 43, of the 7800 block of 127th Street, Palos Hills, was charged with drunken driving after being pulled over …
