Officials have said they're expecting about 20,000 people to come to downtown Tinley Park on Sunday for the annual Caribbean Beach Block Party—the biggest party of the summer. Will you be there?
Downtown Tinley Park will transform this weekend to become the tropical land that reflects the recent summertime heat. The 14th Annual Caribbean Beach Block Party will take over Oak Park Avenue from 171st to Hickory streets between noon and 7 p.m. Sunday. Games, music, entertainment and trolley rides are all free to the public. The event also boasts a mini "Taste of Tinley" and a classic car show. More than 200 cars were parked along the avenue, in downtown lots and at the Oak Park Avenue Metra station, said Trustee Brian …
