This Week’s Pet: An Obedient, Sweet German Shepherd Mix

Meet Angel. She’s a kind and warm dog who is looking for a home to brighten up.

Angel is a 7-year-old German Shepherd mix, with tan and black fur, who needs a new home. She has been at PAWS Animal Shelter in Tinley Park since Oct. 16, after her previous owner passed away. Angel lives up to her name with a calm, warm and affectionate demeanor. She listens to commands, especially “sit.” She prefers to be the only pet in the house. If you're interested in adoption, contact the shelter at 815-464-7298 or visit its website. Looking for more adoptable pets? Baby, a playful orange, white and black striped cat, still needs a home. Success stories include Millie, a lovable pointer mix found a new home, as did Patches the cat. Rosie and Lily, the pair of adorable Dachshunds, have also found owners.

This Week's Pet: A Lovable German Shepherd

Meet Sioux. She's a kind, big dog who needs a home.

Sioux is a gentle giant at nearly 70 pounds.  She is a 10-year-old German Shepherd mix who has been at PAWS Animal Shelter since earlier in July. Her owner moved away from the area and couldn't afford to bring her. Sioux loves playing around in water, especially on hot days. She has a sweet demeanor and is looking to brighten up a home. Stop by PAWS to meet her. Looking for more adoptable pets? Plenty of kittens are still available for eager owners for $75 each. Kind, gentle Lana is also still at the shelter, and could use a home too.
