Scenes from the Tinley Park Holiday Market

From first dates to old traditions, the Holiday Market tent was a destination for hundreds this weekend.

The weather outside may have been frightful but the crafts and activities were delightful for the hundreds of people attending the 2010 Tinley Park Holiday Market. The aroma of cinnamon roasted almonds drew people further inside the heated tent to explore the various crafts and vendors waiting for their arrival. The market had something to offer for everyone: Children danced, sang and crafted. Parents bought hand-made ornaments. Grandparents took pictures. Friends united in supporting the troops. The market served as a time for some to remember their youth and for others to start new traditions. Booths offering a range of gifts, crafts, snacks and activities lined the sides of the tent.
