James L. Walsh, 22, was found dead Feb. 2, 2013, in the cadet area of the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. Brady-Gill Funeral Home posted the following obituary on its website: James L. Walsh age 22. Cadet 4th Class U.S. Air Force Academy was taken sudden and unexpectedly from his loving family. Cherished son of Timothy and Maureen Walsh. Loving brother of Airman John P. Walsh and Daniel M. Walsh. Devoted grandson of Margaret and the late Daniel Walsh and the late Michael and Mary Lou Iovinelli. Also loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jimmy was a graduate of Victor J. Andrew High School class of 2008. He enlisted in the Air Force in 2010 while stationed at Andrew Air Force Base he worked on getting accepted into the Air …

Services Planned for Tinley Park Air Force Cadet

James L. Walsh, 22, was found dead at the Air Force Academy in Colorado earlier this month. Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 15, and the funeral will be Saturday, Feb. 16.

Visitation and funeral services have been set for the Tinley Park Air Force Academy cadet who died at the academy in Colorado earlier this month. Tinley Park Native Found Dead at Air Force Academy

Air Force Academy cadet and Tinley Park native James L. Walsh was found dead on campus, the academy reports. The cause of death is under investigation.

Officials are investigating the cause of death of a Tinley Park native and Air Force Academy cadet found dead on campus, according to a notice on the academy's website.  Air Force Academy Cadet 4th Class James L. Walsh died Saturday night in the cadet area, according to the report.  Academy personnel found Walsh, contacted emergency services and attempted to revive him using life-saving measures without success, according to the website. "The Academy is deeply saddened by the tragic loss we suffered Saturday," said Lt. Gen. Mike Gould, the Academy superintendent.
