Local photographer Bob Dietz's picture of Old Zion Landmark Church was picked out of 50 entries from the community.
A shot of Landmark Church taken last year by local amateur photographer Bob Dietz will grace the 2010 Tinley Park Holiday Card. Dietz, 58, is a life-long Tinley Park resident with a life-long love of photography. "I've got aerial photos from the 1950s from my dad," Dietz said. "(Tinley Park) was voted the best place to raise your family and I understood that a long time ago. That's why I raised my family here." For his photo, Dietz was given a plaque, a $250 stipend and praise from village officials. Village Clerk Patrick Rea told Dietz he was "pleased" Dietz's photo was the winner among 50 community-submitted photos.
