Son of Woman Killed in Crash Sues Driver

Sham Firadusi says his mother, Tinley Park resident Lubna Firadusi, had a green light when Orland Hills resident and allegedly drunken driver Kevin Santiago struck her car on Dec. 2, near 183rd and 80th Avenue.

The son of a woman killed in a Dec. 2 crash in Tinley Park is suing the allegedly drunken driver of the car that struck hers, Sun-Times Media reports.  Kevin Santiago, 33, of Orland Hills, was charged with reckless homicide and aggravated DUI following the crash that killed 50-year-old Lubna Firadusi, of Tinley Park.   Santiago, of the 8800 block of West 170th Street in Orland Hills, also was charged with driving under the influence, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving without insurance and disobeying a traffic control device, according to police.
