Tinley Home Sales in December Up from a Year Ago
December saw an increase in the number of homes sold in Tinley Park, along with a jump in the median price of homes sold, compared to December 2011.
The 22 detached, single-family homes sold during December in Tinley Park represented a 22.2 percent increase over sales during December 2011, according to the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors (MORe). In November, 26 homes were sold in Tinley Park, compared to 23 sold in November 2011. In addition, the median price of homes sold in December ($200,599) was 7.6 percent higher than the median price of homes sold in December 2011 ($186,500).
