The Village of Tinley Park has reached an agreement with Al Warren Oil Co. to buy fuel in bulk, in an effort to save on costs, Sun-Times Media reports. The village board approved the move at its Feb. 5, meeting, with a price for the fuel to be set within 30 days. Other villages that have used the bulk purchasing method save about $100,000 annually, Assistant Village Manager Steve Tilton told Sun-Times Media.
