Tinley Park Woman Charged with Obstruction in Friend's Overdose Death

Romeoville Police say Lewis University student Jamie Olson, 21, took steps to conceal her involvement in the suspected heroin death of Anna Marinier, 20, of Frankfort. Marinier was found dead Sunday in one of the school's dorms.

A 20-year-old Frankfort woman died of a drug overdose while at a Lewis University dorm this weekend, and the friend with whom she was staying has been arrested for trying to conceal her role in the death, Romeoville police said Monday. READ: Mug Shot Monday, Nov. 19 Anna Marinier was found dead at Fitzpatrick Hall at about 11:10 a.m. Sunday, Romeoville Assistant Police Chief Steve Lucchesi said. Although toxicology tests are still pending, but it's suspected that she overdosed on heroin, he said. Her friend, Jamie Olson, 21, of 9125 Letterkenny Drive in Tinley Park, was arrested Sunday night on a felony charge of obstruction of justice and booked into the Will County jail. Tinley Man Faces Drug Charges After Police Respond to Overdose

Anthony Rizza charged with charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

A Tinley Park man was accused last week of harboring heroin, cocaine and hypodermic needles in a Tinley Park condominium, according to Tinley Park police, more than a month after he overdosed and was revived by paramedics. Anthony J. Rizza, 34, of the 7700 block of Bristol Park in Tinley Park, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia on March 15. Police said paramedics had to revive Rizza from a heroin and cocaine overdose in his condo on the night of Feb. 9 after a friend called police. Rizza was found on his kitchen floor with a needle in his arm, according to police reports. Rizza's friend, Richard A. Janis, 23, of the 13600 block of 92nd Street in Orland Park, was …

Creepy Guy Tries to Pick Up Teens at White Castle, in Oak Lawn, Jan. 7 A physically fit man with a ponytail tried to pick up a 16-year-old boy at the Oak Lawn White Castle, at 9501 S. Cicero Ave., the evening of Jan. 7. Oak Lawn police were called to the restaurant where they were met by the teen and his friend. According to the victim, he and his friend were inside the restaurant when they saw a man lift up his shirt and show them his ribs. The boys told police they didn’t know the man.
