Crime Reports: Lockers Broken Into at Fitness Center

Tinley Park Police reports, Dec. 22-Jan. 1 • Cashiers were arrested for underringing at Target • Counterfeit $100 bills passed • Burglars steal three TVs and leave message for homeowners.

FRIDAY, DEC. 28 The locks were cut off of three lockers on Dec. 28 at LA Fitness, 18400 Convention Center Dr. in Tinley Park. One victim reported the theft of $250 in cash, the second victim reported a wallet with $250 cash and credit cards was missing, and the third victim reported nothing missing from his locker.  On Jan. 2, an Air Force Academy cadet home for the holidays reported the theft of $100 from his locker at the fitness center. On Dec. 16, a woman discovered her wallet had been taken from a locker at the fitness center when she received an alert on her cell phone that someone was trying to make an $1,800 purchase at the Apple store in Orland Square Mall.
