ReplyI know lets make it a Bank drive thru its a perfect location 1 block from excessive tradffic flow. Its an ideal Bank location in my opinion! Close to down town yet not in your face!

ReplyThe Park district should buy it! This is why I pay taxs not to subsidies Capitalists. Its part of our history and should be turned into an extension of Island park for everyones enjoyment.

ReplyIsn't the New Geneva retirement building on bennett 90% vacant already? Across the river shodeens 4 story eye sores also half vacant. Stop building High density ghettos on the river! tear it down if you must how about a plaque on the blacksmith portion and the rest green flood plain space as nature intended.

ReplyA great man many times I darkened his waiting room at GHS. I always felt better after my visit with chicky! He never demeaned and treated you like a young adult supported you and made you aware of the consciences of your actions. A good old fashioned father figure. My condolences go out to Katie and the entire Williams family.

ReplySorry to see old Phils house deserted he was a decent carrying man who loved his cats and feed the birds everyday. I remember once he told me that the house had been in their family for a couple generations? I can't be sure I knew him and his mother they used to have a 34 pound cat that was just amazing like a small tabby dog!

ReplyAll good points but, I think Kent did not make the call it was Paul Ruby his dedicated employee trying to keep his place of financial support afloat (pun intended). You can't blame Paul for wanting to keep his job and boss happy! I hope for them all the best and I am sure it will turn out well in the end and hopefully there are lessons learned this time and permanent solutions implemented before next time.
