Tattoo Convention Comes to Tinley: Share Your Ink
Patch has new public blog that lets you show off your tattoos and tell us the stories behind them. Find out how you can put the spotlight on your body art.
This weekend, Immersed in Ink, a national tattoo convention and art festival will be stopping at the Tinley Park Convention Center.
The three-day event showcases a tattoo artists from around the country and features live entertainment.
Given how popular tattoos have become as an area of self-expression and artistry for both the recipient and the artist, Patch has set up a public blog for readers, called Tattoo You, to show off their ink and tell the story behind it.

Log in to Patch and post a photo or video (or both) of your tattoo and tell us where and why you got it.
Immersed in Ink Tattoo Convention and Art Festival
When: 2 to 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20; 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21; and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22.
Where: Tinley Park Convention Center
Cost: $20 per day; $35 for a weekend pass. Children get in free with a paying adult. Cash only accepted at the door.
