GOP Candidates for Governor to Speak in Tinley Park

Brady, Dillard, Rauner and Rutherford to appear in forum scheduled for Nov. 21 at Odyssey Country Club.

The four GOP candidates for governor will participate in a candidate forum in Tinley Park later this month.

State Treasurer Dan Rutherford, State Sen. Kirk Dillard, State Sen. Bill Brady and businessman Bruce Rauner will discuss their candidacies on Nov. 21 at 8:15 a.m. at the Odyssey Country Club. Moderating the discussion — hosted by the Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce — will be Phil Kadner, the longtime SouthtownStar columnist.

Also confirmed are the Republican candidates for state treasurer: Michael Scott Carter and Bob Grogan.

Candidates each will get three minutes to address the audience. Questions from the audience will be taken as time permits.

The event takes place at Odyssey Country Club, 9110 S. Ridgeland, Tinley Park. Attendance is free for members of the Tinley Park Chamber. Admission for others is $10 and must be registered by Nov. 19. Anyone interested in registering or in need of additional information should contact the Chamber office at (708) 532-5700.
