I love a parade!

We are a hockey family.  Both my husband and my nine-year-old son play competitively.  We build an ice rink in my backyard every winter.  We're big Blackhawks fans.  It's been a good week in our house!

When the Blackhawks announced their parade route and we realized it was going to go right past my husband's office building (as it did in 2010), we decided to make the trip into the city for the parade.  We set up camp with a large group of my son's hockey team buddies (go HF Vikings!) on the corner of Washington and Jefferson, near the front of the route.  We had a blast!
