UPDATED: Funeral Set for Annabella Loerop, 4, Killed by Car in Tinley Park

Tinley Park girl was killed Monday after being struck by a car.

The funeral for Annabella Renee “Bella” Loerop, 4, of Tinley Park, has been set for 11 a.m. Friday, May 13, at Orland Park Christian Reformed Church, 7500 Sycamore Drive, Orland Park.

A visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave., Orland Park.

Loerop was killed when Tinley Park police did not immediately return to phone messages left Monday and Tuesday about the crash or whether there will be charges against the driver.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office on Tuesday confirmed the 4-year-old girl killed was Annabella Loerop.

Several media reports stated Loerop ran into the street chasing after a ball.

Loerop's family did not wish to comment for this story.

She is survived by parents John and Tanya; brother Joey; grandparents William and Betty Loerop and Les and Bonnie Hilbelink; great-grandmother Eleanore Engstrom; aunts and uncles Steve (Kellie) and Scott (Danielle) Loerop and Lance (Becky), Tim, Jonathan and Ashley Hilbelink and numerous cousins, great-aunts and great-uncles. She was preceded in death by aunt Becky Lynn Hilbelink.
