In Tinley Park, the fireworks display begins at 9:15 p.m. July 4 at McCarthy Park, 16801 S. 80th Ave. This is the culmination of a Fourth of July celebration that starts with opening ceremonies at 4 p.m., followed by children's games, inflatables, as well as live entertainment by the Andrew High School Student Band, the Danny Tanner Band, Bruce Karosa's Polka Band and headliners, The Hat Guys. Beer and food tents also will be open.
